Go and post in another topic and stop getting your knickers in a twist about some trivial thing like someone looking at you a bit funny one day or somesuch (did I already say trivial) triviality.

I found and replaced all the bits I cut out of the first list of AIBU threads with nowt, to make it less barely legible more readable.

The problem with AIBU is when people take it seriously.

Got distracted there, had just seen the MrMB sponsorship thread and had to go and get my Visa card.

VeniVidiVickiQV · 16/02/2008 22:39

A huge bowl of pesto pasta, a pint of tea, and a cadbury's creme egg has fixed it for me.

About to go upstairs and snuggle under the duvet and watch films

I cant remember the last time I was in bed before 11pm on a Saturday night!

SnafuAtSea · 16/02/2008 22:40

Ohhhh, tea and a creme egg. Exactly what I need. There are marshmallows downstaris, though...

I need to go to bed.

turquoise · 16/02/2008 22:41

YANBU at all.

I really hate this topic, most especially the chorus of "miserable dried up old bitch" which generally follows the op about someone who looked at them funny/spilled their pint/whatever.

mrspnut · 16/02/2008 22:41

I think that there are lots of very unreasonable people everywhere. especially when I'm driving my car and they don't seem to have the first idea about the rules of the road.

Miss I drive a crappy Ka with a playboy sticker in the back window - I mean you. I will not pull forward into the keep clear box so you and your inbred companion can turn left and try to avoid the traffic lights. Your compnaion was a sight to behold as he got out of the car to try and intimidate me into moving forward, it was only slightly marred by him catching sight of my husband in the passenger seat and scuttling back to the safety of your car.
Before the next time you try driving your pimp mobile, you skanky pox ridden ho, you might like to take a look at the highway code.

Mr I have a shitty old car so I don't care, perhaps you may like to visit an opticians before taking to the road again - pulling out onto a road in front of me when I'm doing 40mph is not the best idea, especially as my car is bigger than yours. Gurning at me in your side mirror at the traffic lights didn't do you any favours at all either.

Gosh, I suddenly feel so much better without the need to start several AIBU threads.

This way, I'm not asking - I'm telling.

ZippiBabes · 16/02/2008 22:43

yeah well i am dressing my bf up as johnny depp next weekend so he can shave my arse for you ...in the meantime maybe you should refrain

Sycamoretree · 16/02/2008 22:43

What is reeeally annoying is when people twist and turn the title of their post around so that somehow they can shoe horn it into AIBU when really it should be somewhere far more obscure, like, erm, "lame posts for mardy arses who should really just be on Chat talking about their dull arse days". They just want to be at the top of the alphabetical list so lazy MNetters get sucked into their threads before they get to anything more worthwhile.

I have stuffed olives in a peppa pig bowl here, but they went out of date last November...

hunkermunker · 16/02/2008 22:43

Turquoise (hello!), you're not wrong.

I missed one off the fictional OPs I did earlier - the rabble-rouser:

"AIBU to think that a man who murders toddlers for a laugh and makes Christmas decorations from their teeth ought not to be given a job as a lollipop man outside my local school? "

and then the reams of "WTF?! " "The evil bastard! " "How very dare they?!!!! " "I knew a lollipop man who made toddlers out of Christmas decorations, but this is different and wrong so, no, YANBU "

OP posts:
SnafuAtSea · 16/02/2008 22:45

Can we not just change the topic title to 'String 'Em Up!'?

turquoise · 16/02/2008 22:45

Hello.

You missed off "throw away the key".

ZippiBabes · 16/02/2008 22:45

you lot are making me laff

hunkermunker · 16/02/2008 22:45

And now I truly have gone mental so I am off to bed.

Night, chaps.

Sycamore
Last Nov is still eatable. I decided to make Nan bread yesterday and got the mix out of the cupboard that had been lurking there for some time. BB October 2005. Oops.

AIBU to think that I should not use the Nan bread mix when it is past it's sell by date?

Sycamoretree · 16/02/2008 22:49

Kinder - You are not, not being unreasonable, depends whether the packet was opened or not, or if you reached for it with your left, or right hand, or if you made your 3 month old baby try it first, because YABU if you think that it's ok to wean a baby that early, unless of course, you didn't puree it, and it was BLW, in which case, no, YANBU.
