I wrote a thread on here a few weeks ago about me stopping contact between ex and DS. First time I've done it and it was over big concerns.

I've spoken to my solicitor and said he could have day contact every other weekend and one school pick up a week and drop off at 6. It's been one week of this arrangement that's been agreed between our solicitors. His solicitor continues to be intimidating. Ex dropped DS off on Wednesday at 6 and he was intimidating towards me. Knocked super loud on the door, shoved DS stuff at me really hard and stared and shook his head at me. Ds didn't see this as he was busy picking flowers.
His solicitor has said they want to reinstate original contact as before and if I don't then the court will look to me badly. I've spoken to my IDVA and solicitor and came to the decision that I want to keep the no overnight stays until the court says otherwise. I just know ex is going to be horrendous towards me, may even get even more intimidating. I've never stood up to him like this before in all the years I've known him.
Would I court look at me badly for having no over night contact and changing the contact due to my concerns? DS said he misses his dad but I know children love their parents and he's 6 so doesn't really understand nor will I tell him what's really going on as that's damaging.
