why the hell am i like this ( lighthearted)

I do this thing, it annoys me yet i wont change it, must be some sort of weird quirk.

So when i wash my dressing gown, i take the tie off it ( and also wash) yet dont put the tie back on the dressing gown loops, just hand them on the hook with the dressing gown.

So every morning, i take my dressing gown off, and the tie falls on the floor, i huff and tie it round my waist. Every.single.morning.
Sometimes if DH is tiding he up will then thread it through the loops and the next morning i go to put it on and it makes me so happy.

Why do i put myself through this hell....anyone else do things that annoy you but refuse to change them ha.

Why don't you just go and do it now this minute? Go on!

This is totally something I would do. I have ADHD though. Are you a procrastinator?

Yes massively, but what i say is i work better under pressure haha

I have a really simple solution: I wash my dressing gown maybe once a year...😄

Me too! And I NEVER take the belt out of the loops.

Tie/knot one side of the belt onto the loop - it won’t get separated in the wash and then you’ll only have the almost insurmountable effort of relooping one side of the belt😀

This is exactly the kind of thing I do.

I keep my makeup in a soft, clear plastic toiletry bag thing with a zipped lid, inside the top drawer of my dressing table. I never zip the lid closed and so every single morning I have a battle to get the drawer open because the partly opened lid is blocking it. Every single morning I shut the drawer with the lid open and repeat the next day.

I also do this so when I last washed it I made sure I put the tie back in the loops as it pisses me off every time 🤣
