To ask for your waters breaking experience

I'm 35+2 and just felt a little pop and hot liquid running down my leg. It wasn't loads but enough to make me go wash off and put clean pj bottoms on.

I had a scan and consultant today for a low lying placenta but found out today that it's moved and I can go ahead with a vaginal birth so I'm booked to be induced on my due date as I've got a complicated history of miscarriages and gynae problems.

TMI but DH and I had sex about an hour ago (nothing strenuous!) and I went straight to the toilet/had a wash straight after so I know it's not anything leakage wise 🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel silly calling hospital as it wasn't a huge amount and I'm not in any pain.

Any experience anyone? Thanks

My waters went with the huge gush in the car 20 mins before he arrived.

With my first my waters went with a huge gush in bed and that was my first sign she was coming.

Definitely call in. Mine was exactly like this, a tiny dribble at first which I put down to wee leakage even though I hadn’t Al had any issues with that for the whole pregnancy. Then 24 hours later the whole lot went with a gush. Had definitely been waters at first escaping but the position of the baby meant they were acting as a kind of stopper!

I experienced the "pop" and just a trickle of water, no big gush, when my waters broke. Baby was born 8hrs later. Defo call.

@PollyPut completely forgot to update! They did an internal and said my cervix is closed so can't be my waters. I'm still not convinced and my Hyperemesis has returned and I feel very damp down there with some painful braxton hicks the past day or so but I'll go again if I feel any worse x
