Feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment, life just feels busy and a bit stressful, today I just felt I needed to have a cry! I’m not really a regular crier! Do you find sometimes having a cry just helps?!

No, it gives me a headache and makes me feel shattered, I hate it! I know some do find it cathartic though.

I do find that like a good sleep, crying can make me feel more positive afterwards. Like PP though, its not great when it gives me a headache.

I always find a good cry releases some of the stress that has built up!

It is shown to release some sort of stress hormone aswel from studies I think

So go for it 😢😢

YES!

But also I struggle to really, properly cry! I might feel a bit weepy and eyes will fill, but I sometimes feel the need for a really big, ugly, snotty cry 😂

(Tips welcome 😂)

No it makes me feel ugly , headachy and worse

i had an elderly lady who was very spiritual and she claimed she tried to cry every day. Excuse it was so healing…

I do find though, that during a therapy session I want to cry or else I don’t feel I’ve had a good experience.

Yes. I don't cry for ages, but when I do, I find it very therapeutic. I think it allows you to let out loads of emotion and tension. Big fan!
