To not bother with interview?

Have a job interview on Tuesday first thing

have work tomorrow first thing.

First of all, work haven’t confirmed my leave so unsure if I can attend the interview - though I might be able to swing something tomorrow to ensure I can attend (ie beg and rearrange my meetings). They’ve been aware of my leave request for 2 weeks

secondly I feel like a bit of an imposter. This job is 2 grades up than mine. I’m definitely overwhelmed in my current role, and it’s also an incredibly toxic environment. I did score very well in my application so far though.

third, I feel like having to be at work the day before might knock my confidence as I can guarantee someone will say/do something nasty, as that’s the culture

I think you need to pull on your big girl pants and do all you can, within reason, to attend the interview. There is no way you should remain in a toxic environment a day longer than you need to. Good luck!

Thank you. I need to give it a shot. So hard to prepare for interviews though.

This in spades.

I see zero reason to cancel the interview....

Thank you, the time off is confirmed. Just trying my best to prepare! 🙂
