Subway or chippy for dinner tonight?

If subway - Italian bmt

If chippy - i think spicy haggis supper and tub of gravy

Anyone want to inspire me? Or help me decide please?

You can also get pizza crunch suppers which are coated in batter then deep fried. Ive never actually had one of those tbf.

I love a pizza crunch. The deep fried normal pizzas must be the cheap ones though.

Our deep-fried pizzas are always battered. I've never seen one without but they don't get called pizza crunch here either. You can get a half or whole deep-fried (battered) pizza at our local place, most places I only see the half one. They're always the cheap thick based ones so they're gorgeous to bite into.

YABU for contemplating a Subway. Soggy and bland.

Not a fan of Subway at all. Sandwich for dinner wouldn't be my choice of a takeaway treat! Neither would haggis, though I don't actually dislike it. Fish & chips all the way.

No takeaway for us tonight though, I had a Chinese last night (beef curry and chips with a side of onion rings) and the leftovers were brunch for me today. Enjoy whatever you pick.

Not sure how meat/tuna/cheese and salad on toasted bread is disgusting but this is MN so I'm not surprised by the disgust 🤣

I've decided to have subway for lunch this week when I'm in town my order is dull though ham cheese and tomato sometimes with spinach if I'm feeling adventurous!

It came from the Chinese takeaway and I got free prawn crackers with it. Their curry is my favourite type of curry, loads of super soft beef and stir fried onions through it, and their chips are amazing with the curry sauce (and it means I can share them with DC if they want a few, although DC1 had a chicken fried rice from there last night so didn't take any like they usually do). Their onion rings are better than from anywhere else. Absolutely massive with gorgeous thick slightly salty batter. And they reheat brilliantly the next day.

I love salad, but it has to have salad cream on it and include grated cheese sometimes.

Why does mumsnet take the piss out of people who like salads?
