I'm interested to hear what it sounds like. For it to be going off all over the country at once, in all households and shops is exciting.

It's something completely new and feels kinda like something from Black mirror.

Maybe I'm just weird 😂

Latenightreader · 23/04/2023 15:00

I just realised that I left my phone at home! A kind colleague put his on the desk so I could feel part of things...

FiveGoMadInDorset · 23/04/2023 15:00

Quite exciting but why an American accent?

Boomboom22 · 23/04/2023 15:00

I didn't know anything about this, yes, completely freaked me out.

Norachance · 23/04/2023 15:01

It happened at 14.59 here in LondonGrin

Lovesacake · 23/04/2023 15:01

Poppyblush · 23/04/2023 15:01

Mine went off at 259. No big deal. Hope to never hear it for real.

ApolloandDaphne · 23/04/2023 15:01

Mine didn't go off

dancerdog · 23/04/2023 15:01

Got mine at 2.59. Husband and son have had nothing!

AndrexPuppy · 23/04/2023 15:01

DH’s phone didn’t do anything. He hasn’t switched the alerts off. The dog looked at my phone as if to say, “well answer it then!”

GroovyGangConscript · 23/04/2023 15:01

Just had it simultaneously on my ancient i-phone SE and DH's Android. DH's phone read out the text but mine didn't.

NeverDropYourMooncup · 23/04/2023 15:00

That was a bit quiet, wasn't it?

It didn't even bother the cat who was incubating the phone at the time.

I was expecting it to be much louder, the dog didn't even raise his head.

I genuinely don't think I would have heard it if it was in my bag.
