went out to work's do (my old boss leaving party), was really lokking forward to it. Dp told mme not to worry about the time and enjoy myself. I wanted to leave after half an hour.

I couldn't join in dancing, didn't feel like drinking and the music was too loud

Talking to people was ok but nothing special. I'd rather had a chat with someone on here

I felt like that with my ds. I think you just get out of practice. I said to my dh that I'd forgotten how to enjoy myself! It will come back in a while.

I hope so. I really felt out of place there.
And I used to be the first to come on the dance floor (and to collapse drunk )
