Almost all prepackaged selections where you get a variety of either cheese biscuits or sweet biscuits are great big enormous boxes with loads of biscuits in there. If you're feeding a lot of people, or it's to last a long time (without going soggy, somehow), you could, if you wanted, buy several different full-size packets of biscuits/crackers instead of the big mixed box, still have variety, and probably get more crackers for the same amount of money. When you're buying and opening that quantity all at once anyway, getting variety is already easy, even without prepackaged selections.
The place where routinely offering a variety of different types of biscuit/cracker all in one package would actually be helpful is in the smaller size packets, the 150g/200g sort of size biscuit package. I'm not going to buy four times as many biscuits as I want/need/can feasibly have open all at once without them going soft, just so I can get a bit of variety, so I'm stuck with having all one type.
Why? AIBU? Or am I the crazy one? What else is packaged entirely wrong by supermarkets/companies?
