For a 63 Yr old woman to have extremely thin hair to the point where there is a bald patch at the back and to be constantly exhausted (despite not having to work.).There are no chronic illnesses.
I am worried about a relative.

Have they had blood tests? Lots of older people have pernicious anaemia, that can cause hair loss and exhaustion.
Lots of older people have low vitamin D, that can also cause hair loss and exhaustion. As can low ferritin, as can thyroid issues. What’s her diet/weight like? Malnutrition can also cause these issues. A person can either be thin or even be overweight and malnourished if they aren’t eating nutritional food.

She needs to speak to a GP, there could be an easily treatable cause for this.
