Third child

I am 34 partner is 44 is it too late for a third child? I feel worried that by time the child would be 30 its dad will be well in to his 70s. Is this unfair on the child? Or am I over thinking… not sure if idea of 3rd is unreasonable now.
thanks

I dont think that is too old however I would think carefully about if a third child is needed. Financially, environmentally and in terms of family dynamic. I have had similar considerations in similar circumstances myself as have others. 3 seems, from those I know, to be a different ball game and also financially I.e. car needs, house etc. I've decided not to plan a third. If it happens it happens but won't be trying to.

It’s absolutely fine! We know loads of dads of primary kids in their 50s

DH was 48 when ds was born 40 when dd was born. I don't know if it is unreasonable or not. I was 34 when ds was born.
