Unashamedly posting here for traffic.

Why is this not top of the agenda? Pinned? Highlighted and pushed at every turn? This is so important and so significant, I find it hard to understand why I’m searching for it. Why I had to send my link to my MP (because she had no idea it was even a thing). Let’s get behind this. Is there a reason it’s not getting out there? 🤔. Seems very strange.

“When we think of the word patriarchy, we most often align it with misogyny — a society controlled by men who wield a disproportionate amount of power to their advantage. And while traditionally that may be the case, we need to keep in mind that patriarchy is not limited to gender but is, in fact, a system.

While it may be a complex system, patriarchy at its core is about female oppression. Among other things, it is the imbalance of power. It is the abuse of power and influence. It is the silencing of women. We equate this primarily to male dominance when in fact, female oppression toward other females can be just as prevalent.”

Patriarchy Is A System and Women Can Support The System Too

It may be insidious, but it exists.

Can you please sum up the article?

What is the JR about?

Because from what you've posted, it sounds like it's trying to prove that patriarchy is just as much the fault of women.

Whereas when I opened the thread I thought this was going to he about a JR about the way so may mothers get shafted by the CMS system that makes gathers pay a pittance and doesn't even bother enforcing it so most men don't both.

Currently battling against PP to get my child’s payments from them. CMS already taking this case seriously as PP is a repeating offender with a large debt. PP has approached their MP. Has anyone seen PP’s MP siding with CMS and RP? And for what reason? Thank you
