Would you give away your pet for a million pounds?

Hypothetically.
If somebody knocked on my door right now and offered to re-home my cat for a million pounds, I just don't think I could do it. Even though that would be a completely life-changing amount of money for me. Could you?

Not the dog, the dog is awesome. They can have the cat, though. He's a bastard.

TheGoogleMum · 18/04/2023 22:18

I'd feel conflicted about it but I'd probably say yes and just feel incredibly guilty forever

hattie43 · 18/04/2023 22:25

Nope

StillMedusa · 18/04/2023 22:26

No. My dog gives me unconditional love, rarely asks for lifts or borrows money...
Can I offer up dh instead? Grin

JMSA · 18/04/2023 22:26

Please mumma, I beg you, don't sell me!

This old boy isn't going to win any beauty contests but he's the loveliest cat ever.

Really sorry mate to have to be the one to break it to you, but I have the loveliest cat ever in the whole existence of catkind. I know this because I've just told her.

Yours must be 2nd 🐈

Willyoujustbequiet · 18/04/2023 22:36

Yes.

Because that money would change my childrens lives and they are my priority.

JellicleCat · 18/04/2023 22:41

No. DH though, maybe. (am joking btw)

I'll buy him off you for a million quid!

TENDTOprocrastinate · 18/04/2023 22:45

Hell yes. I’d sell my cats and dog. In fact I’d probably take less~ 10k and have a nice holiday.

Minimalme · 18/04/2023 22:48

I couldn't. I am completely dependent on my pug for emotional support and vice Versa. We are a bonded pair.

IsItUs · 18/04/2023 22:48

Depends which cat they want. One - no way, one - unlikely, one - yes!

ElaOfSalisbury · 18/04/2023 22:49

No

BellaBlossoms · 18/04/2023 22:50

Absolutely not. Two of my dogs have been with me through the most difficult years of my life. The children and cats though, that’s debatable.

DisneyMillie · 18/04/2023 22:52

Our cat is lovely but absolutely for a million! However, technically she’s my husbands cat and I’d have to use the money to run away as there’s no way he’d agree.

Spiderboy · 18/04/2023 22:53

Um I’d love a million pounds…but no

clpsmum · 18/04/2023 22:55

@EvenHeathens oh sooooo cute

LittleRedYarny · 18/04/2023 22:55

No, even though she (a cat) physically abuses my parents and me to the point where it verges on torture.

Minimalme · 18/04/2023 22:56

P.S Bit cross more pics of beloved pets haven't been posted...

PurpleReindeer2 · 18/04/2023 23:03

No way. They are far too precious.

Wednesdaysotherchild · 18/04/2023 23:11

No, never!
