To tell you about my unmumsnet dinner?

Absolutely starving for some reason tonight so had a huge plate of chips, 2 eggs, beans, brown sauce and a couple of slices of bread and butter to make a chip butty. All washed down with a mug of steaming hot tea.

I know I know very carb heavy, no veg but hell it was bloody delicious.

@nomoredriving it's like the pasta and sauce in the packets. The uncle Ben's stuff was very posh!!! This was dehydrated rice and flavourings you pour into boiling water and stir!

I know it....... unsurprising really 😂

And than you, I am very posh and even have eaten spam fritters! That's how posh I am!!

Ohh a cider ice lolly, haven't had one in years, and now I want one. Have got a can of Barr bubblegum soda though.

Beans touched everything they were definitely not in a ramekin. Think a few stray ones might have sneaked into the butty tbh.

Sounds wonderful. Last week I had sausages, chips, beans, fried gg and two slices of white buttered bread.. bliss.

Wish I could eat like that every day but I'd be the size of a house

Proper home made chips (not nasty oven chips), beans, onion rings, white bread and a can of Vimto here tonight. The ideal vegan meal 😀

OK, I now think YABU! Beans need to be contained in a ramekin or your food is disgusting, unhealthy and wrong

We are no longer friends and I'm taking my bottle of R Whites Cream Soda and going home.

I had a glorious Full English at my favourite transport cafe the other day. 2 eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tinned toms AND baked beans, 2 slices of white toast and butter and a mug of tea. It was luvverly.

Sadly I undid all the good work today - I had the Mumsnet Massive Salad for dinner 😊Weirdly, I do feel like I could eat again already...

Change the brown sauce to tomato ketchup and add some grated cheese to chips and beans and your on to a winner.

I'm confused by the need to imprison beans in a ramekin. Why would anyone do this? Ramekins aren't very wide so how do you dip your chip butty or barm into the bean juice?

All sounds good to me @sweeneytoddsrazor , I had a very thick slice of gammon , beans and 2 poached eggs .

I remember Bass shandy and Barr cream soda, you can still get the. In home bargains from time to time. Does anyone remember the drink Quatro (sp?)

I have never understood this either , it's hard to get them out unless you use a teaspoon to eat them. And it's more washing up!

It's about cross contamination, it's very important with bean juice!
