'cos I've got the sniffles ...

(bad sniffles to be fair .. the ones where you look in the mirror and realise that Deputy Dawg has got nothing on you)

.. it will of course be 72% cocoa chocolate if that helps?

YANBU
I am planning on taking dds to nursery turning tv on for ds and sleeping on the couch if that helps

Clegg · 15/02/2008 12:28

that sounds like a fantastic way to spend the afternoon. yanbu

Are your sure that's safe? I gave my ds some chocolate brownie in a cafe last week and by the time we left every second word was "poo" (I'm so glad that's the worst swear word he knows). He was so hyper he ran for about 15 mins non-stop, shouting "poo" of course.

I hope you feel better soon. I'm off work today with a horrible, hacking cough following a cold. DS has gone to school though.

Twiglett · 15/02/2008 12:32

maybe I'll just hide the chocolate under my blanket then .. on a purely medicinal basis you understand?

Not unreasonable at all.

Am rather impressed that, even at your most slovenley, you stll manage to retain that little bit of ponce. Bravo!!

Twiglett · 15/02/2008 12:34

why thank you Jeremy ... it is after all important not to let one's standards slurp slip

Yes, have the chocolate yourself and force feed your child fruit

then you don't get the sugar-rush behaviour to deal with AND you get the choc

derah · 15/02/2008 16:53

The only thing wrong with your plan is that you're giving the chocolate and sweets to your DC not eating them yourself! Or are they for both of you?

Nothing wrong with a slob day now and then!

Twiglett · 15/02/2008 17:00

oh god I think you need to shoot me .. I ordered pizza to be delivered too

DC staring out the window waiting for 'pizza in a box like Americans do it>

chocolatespiders · 15/02/2008 17:05

that sounds perfect.... enjoy!!!

LilRedWG · 15/02/2008 17:07

Enjoy! It'll do you good.

lazarou · 15/02/2008 17:16

It's an excellent idea. I bought a packet of mini hot cross bun chocolates from m&s today, and I've managed to eat the lot without the dc's chocolate radar being activated.
I had pizza for tea last night as well.

HonoriaGlossop · 15/02/2008 17:26

ooooh pizza
