So I stay in a 4 in a block. I'm downstairs so have someone above me. I suffer from osteoarthritis in both knees & am having a real bad flare up just now. I'm taking amatriptaline or tramadol for the pain. So, background set.

Yesterday about 0900 I had a ring doorbell notification that someone had rung my bell. I opened the app and a courier said he had a parcel for upstairs. I said no sorry I can't take it (would have meant getting out of a hard obtained comfy position in bed) so he left.

Now I KNOW my neighbours were in. I heard them about 10 mins later. I had friends over yesterday for coffee & the pros & cons of a Ring doorbell came up. My friend said they'd have taken the parcel in & couldn't believe I hadn't. Considering they know how bad my mobility is I was surprised by their attitude, so WIBU

You're under no obligation to take in parcels for anyone, whatever your reasons are. For what it's worth, I think you're completely justified in not wanting to get up in those circumstances.
