There's another thread running about how being a housewife would be nice. In my area I'm not sure the women would describe themselves as 'housewives' but most of them are on the school runs multiple times a week, are able to go to sports day, early afternoon parent evenings, school daytime events, school holiday playdates, kids daytime parties in the school holidays - you name it. I feel like everyone around me works so flexibly that they are mostly at home anyway. Aibu to think this is the case for most women or do I just see a snapshot?
