Hayfever injections?

Anybody have them? Where do you get them done, and do they work well for you?

Preparing in advance for May, I can't cope with another 2 months of it, even strong tablets don't do much for me.

I thought the NHS had stopped them? I might be wrong though

Stripycatz · 13/04/2023 23:44

Yes but many many years ago. Never had hayfever since.

Good point, I need to look into it.

Wow, that's brilliant!

It comes with considerable risks so I wouldn't risk it unless as a very last resort.

You need to try different AHs, and add a steroid (or combined steroid and AH) nasal spray and learn how to use it properly as it makes a world of difference.

I use a cocktail of AHs, Dymista spray, Opticrom eye drops and inhalers for pollen induced asthma and I still get breakthrough symptoms but it's manageable.
