AIBU to think a large number of marriages and partnerships are fake?
Beneath the service lots of people just do things as society has always told them to do so.
Must do this this and this to run a happy life etc etc
Must please this person by doing this, when actually the world wouldn't calapse is people didn't always do things they think they ought to be doing.

The online world is a nightmare! I have so many young work colleagues who daily update me with their internet dating woes. It is horrific!
I was lucky enough to be old enough where you actually just went out and met people. I feel so lucky!

I don't agree about them being fake. But from most of what I read on here, most women have a very low bar for the behavior they expect of their partners/husbands and the standards they put up with are shockingly low. They'll share paragraphs of awful things, then someone will ask 'what are their good points?' and they'll say 'oh they help out with the kids sometimes when I ask them to'.
