I have been friends with her for a few years, we are quite close and we do tell each other most things (I have recently stopped). We have been going out for drinks every couple of weeks which at first was fun but I noticed when she’s drunk she’s very competitive with other women. It started with other women and I’d have to diffuse situations where she’s offended another woman (openly flirting with s/o). Recently I noticed it has turned to me and she’d tried to purposely embarrass me in front of a man pursuing me so we haven’t been seeing each other as much recently.
We have mutual friends who sometimes join us when we are out, one I have spoken to on social media for many months but mainly as friends with a bit of flirting. We met properly a few weeks ago and both agreed we liked each other and should see each other again. We did we had a few drinks with mutual friends (she was one of them). We both very clearly like each other but she was being very flirty and suggestive (she’s never been like this with him before). I ignored it because she’s drunk. This man and I got a taxi home around 9ish he went to his place I went to mine. We were texting each other when we got home. He then said to me our friend had rang him drunk and insisted going to his house because she didn’t know where she was etc. She went there and he called me to say she was in a state etc and if I could go and get her. I got there and she was very openly trying it on with him, she even said she was lying with him on his bed at one point (whilst looking at me dead in the eyes). He said it was nothing like that etc, she was obviously pissed I was there. I ordered us a taxi and dropped her home. We haven’t spoken properly since then. Both of them are avoiding me. They were together for a good 2 hours before I got there.
