Aibu to find modern plugs (lever at back of tap to raise pug) a really bad design? The lever never raises the plug high enough to empty the sink quickly, or at all, so I end up taking the plug out with my fingernails. What was wrong with a plug on a chain?
And, while I'm at it, modern button flushes. I've got a plumber coming today, because a button unit has failed. I used to be able to fix a flush toilet, but now I have to pay someone to do it.
