Rash on breasts - help

monarchbutterfly · 11/04/2023 14:05

Sorry for posting in here, more traffic

I've had these veins/rash on both of my breasts for around 2/3 weeks now, they're a lot more prominent when my breasts are cold, but fade considerably after I've been in the shower and they're warm. It's just concerning me as they've randomly appeared, any ideas?? I will be contacting GP but was just wondering if it's happened to anyone else.

Did you find out what this was?

DoughnutDreams · 29/08/2023 03:37

Looks like livedo reticularis but you'd need to talk to your doctor, especially with any breast changes.

Are you pregnant ? I used to get this when I was pregnant x

Randomness1 · 23/10/2023 11:10

Hi ya, did you find out what this was? I also have this and not pregnant. Last pregnancy 1 years ago but lost baby at 12 weeks.

I get this but the other way around...they show more when warm and less when cold
...did u find out what it was??!

Emilyksanch · 23/08/2024 23:34

I get exactly the same when it's cold they fade but when warm more darker. I seen GP and she said she was 95% sure it's nothing and just hormonal changes but referred to breast clinic to be safe. Did you find out what yours was?

Islasmummy123 · 24/08/2024 09:12

Emilyksanch - nope... I never found out what it was... I had an ultrasound which was fine .. yet I still have pain in that breast also. I do suffer anxiety about my health so the more I look at it the more I can see if u get me? I don't even trust my own eyes anymore 🤦🏼‍♀️

Emilyksanch · 24/08/2024 09:17

I also suffer with health anxiety and feel exactly the same when looking at it. The GP did reasure me a little by saying if it was something sinister it wouldn't fade and get darker all the time it would just get worse and worse. She did seem to think its hormones. I'll come back here once I have been to the breast clinic and let you know, it's not until Sept 18 as I'm going away for 3 weeks. Need to try and get it out of my head to enjoy my holiday 😩.

Oh bless you ...it's very hard to concentrate when your worried isn't it. But if they thought it was something bad they would have you straight there. I no it's easy for me to say but try and stay positive. And have a lovely holiday! 😁❤️
