To start a tuition agency

I need a bit of an idiots guide to starting a business that employs people. I’ve worked for myself before but never employed anyone. Where should I look for advice? I want to start a tuition agency.

Is there a key stage/subject you will start off with? Have you any teacher friends who will sign up to your agency?

You’ll need to make sure you have eligibility checks in place, references, CRB checks, cash flow to pay them, payroll system. Will they be on your books or self-employed and billing you? Will you have timesheets? What will your specialist area be? You’ll need a marketing plan, will you pay mileage? Lots of things to consider but could be fun! Good luck OP 🙂
