Lads mag placed at todler eye level

Am I being unreasonable? I went into my local Martins newsagent and was shocked to see the lads mag Zoo by the till at toddler eye level - they may as well put a porn mag there. When I suggested to the assistant that it was inappropriate, she said they have no say on magazine placement. What's wrong with these people - or is it me???!!!

It wouldn't really bother me, but my children only ever seem to notice magazines like CBeebies, or Farmers Weekly (in DS's case).

It was more the fact that the cover has pictures of two girls naked (no nips) in bondage poses. Nudity per se doesn't bother me.

I thought all these lads mags had (by law) to be on the top shelf.

LOL, for the breastfed hungry toddler there may have been trouble!

It bothers me! I pointed out to DH before we had children that I wasn't comfortable with pictures of naked women in provocative poses being out at child-eye level. It isn't that you can see nipple or fanjo, it's the pose and all it implies. I don't want DD growing up with those images of women.
Should point our here that I think that in private with consenting adults is very different!
