To despair at my neighbours

Who have always been noisy but are currently having a loud party (as usual) with lots of drunken shouting and playing of loud techno music - despite having a new born 1 week old?

Yes I am being judgey judge but as they are consistently damn annoying and inconsiderate they deserve it. Grrr. Rant over.

Yes - its party time in the afternoons for them. They dont, and have never, worked and neither do any of their friends. I get flamed for saying anything about benefit claimants so I won't but you get the picture...

Just the throbbing music through my wall sets my nerves on edge. And we have very thick walls!

Maybe the newborn is with a babysitter and they are wetting the babies head.

Kerala - poor you. This would drive me insane. Is the baby in the house whilst all this is going on? If so surely its not right for it to be there at only 1 week old.

We have neighbours like this too. I think mum likes to show her friends that now she is not pregnant her life carries on. She also went out clubbing when DD3 was a week old - I just wanted a few hours of uninterrupted sleep at that stage

southeastastra · 14/02/2008 16:10

hopefully they'll burn themselves out by 9. or not?

kerala · 14/02/2008 16:16

Lets hope so.
Although I suppose I should be impressed that she wants to have a party. When dd was 1 week old I considered myself worthy of a medal for getting dressed.
