First birth vs second birth

My first birth was around 7 hours, about 6.5 of those hours were without pain relief then they gave me a spinal and took me to theatre at 10cm dilated and used ventouse to get DD out. There was meconium so they were being cautious

I wanted to get an idea of how long second births took vs first birth, as I am pregnant again and thinking of options and considering home birth

Thanks!

1st: 18 hours, last minute ventouse and haemorrhage.

2nd: 16 minutes, no assistance. Actually only popped in from work for a blood test, sent for an unplanned scan and told I needed to be induced. Went to induce me, they said I was actually 6cm and already in labour. I was like, no I'm at work 🤣

6.5hrs for first, but 2 hours of that was pushing as she was back to back.
6hrs for second, I was 10cm when I got to the hospital.

2nd labour was much more straightforward but I was pretty lucky both times really.

First was about 4.5 hour established labour but 8 hours from first twinge. Was crash c section though. Second was v bac. Little under 2 hours from first twinge to delivery. Approx 1.5 hrs established labour I'd say. Second stage was delayed though possibly because I'd not had a proper one before. They were about to move to intervention when I pushed DC out.

I was induced with my first and Labour took 12 hours.
I don't know how long my second Labour was because I was taken down for induction and was already 7.5cm dilated with no pain.
