that my dd is growing so fast

My dd is 10 and already 5ft4, I can't believe how fast she's growing, almost as tall as me... Anybody else with very tall kids?

I have a 5ft 2er in Yr 6 , I am short, DH just shy of 6ft but she is deffo in puberty so assume she will be fully cooked sooner than other girls

My 11yr old DD is 5'6" - same height as me! Her dad is 6'4"

I was 5"5 at 12. I'm 5"5 now. I stopped growing.

Yep, dc1 was taller than me by the end of y6. Only around 1.5" taller than me now though in y8. I'm 5' 6.5" so not particularly tall or short. She's not the tallest out of her friends, one is 5' 9". She is still growing but at a far slower pace now. From memory her predicted height was around 6'. I stopped growing in y7 then most others caught up or overtook. Her dad is 6' & her aunt is 6' 3"

I’ve been 5ft 1 since I was 11 🤭🤭but I’ve a child nearly 10 who is going to be tall ! But nowhere near 5’4 yet

DD is 5'4 at 11 but started puberty last summer, so may not get much taller.

My 14yr old DD is 5ft 7. Same height as me. Not sure if I'm shrinking, or she is just still growing 🤣

DD age 10 is 5ft 2. I was 5 ft 6 by the time I started high school and didn't grown any more so I think she will be a bit like me

My dad was 6ft 2. I don’t remember how tall I was at ten but I was definitely 5ft 8 at around 12/13. I am still 5ft 8 now and am 52.

I'd say it is a bit easier if they grow fast than the other way around, being vey small?

I was the same at that age but I stopped growing at about 13. I'm 5'8".

Not really. I towered over people and it wasn’t nice. Small ones were consider cute, I was considered lanky and awkward.

DD - 11.5- is 5'6", size 8 feet
DS - 14.5- is 6'2", size 13 feet!

I'm 5'8, DH is 6'2", DDad was 6'2" and DBro is 6'4". We were never going to have small children..

On the other hand when you're small people think you're younger which isn't always nice either
