If you’re not offended by the partnership deal between Nike and DM to promote woman's sportswear, please scroll on, this is not the thread for you.

If you are offended, please tell Nike by using the Feedback option on their website https://www.nike.com/ It’s at the bottom of the page.

There have been a few threads on this topic that have been deleted already, I’m not posting this for debate, as it will be deleted too. Just post “done” once you’ve told Nike how you feel (in 250 characters or less)..

Come on people, we have a voice here - let’s use it!

Nike. Just Do It

Inspiring the world's athletes, Nike delivers innovative products, experiences and services.

Nike have disabled the feedback button. Cowards.

Soubriquet · 09/04/2023 13:58

Done. Probably won’t bother them with the TRA’s falling over their feet praising them, but we all gotta start somewhere

Pathetic! They only want ‘kind’ feedback, it would seem. Poor lambs.

converseandjeans · 09/04/2023 14:01

✅ Done

AlwaysGinPlease · 09/04/2023 14:02

It's not disabled, I just tried it again, it's fine

Prob keeps getting overwhelmed

thegrain · 09/04/2023 14:05

It doesn't seem the best choice as I'd want to see it in action on breasts. But I guess flat chested people might want bras too.

UnsolicitedOpinions · 09/04/2023 14:05

As an antidote to this, if anyone’s looking for tennis shoes, New Balance have a range of tennis shoes designed with Coco Gauff which are unisex. Fancy that - unisex shoes with an actual real woman’s name on!!

Seems Mumsnet don’t like people mentioning advertising

GreenWhiteViolet · 09/04/2023 14:09

It didn't work for me until I opened the site in an incognito window - maybe try that if you're having trouble?

Swimbikerun · 09/04/2023 14:10

I'd say Adidas of those

Also have a fossick around in TKMaxx - some really high performance stuff ends up in there (grab 2XU whenever you see it) also Ivy Park (Beyonce's brand) is there sometimes - I bought some foe me without knowing the tie-in, and it's actually good stuff.

Just read this interesting article about what may be going on with companies using DM in their advertising.
Looks like the Stonewall scheme but for advertising.

CEI advertising index

That is interesting. It is really problematic that these kind of measures can be used to push ideologies and force companies to conform.

DoTrollsShitInTheThreads · 09/04/2023 14:19

Done. They are just trolling women now.

Sweeted · 09/04/2023 14:19

Using a male without breasts to model a sports bra to women, prancing in a pathetic parody of what he thinks it is to be a sporty woman is both insulting and misogynistic. My son has played basketball in your sportswear for years. He won't now.

Questions97 · 09/04/2023 14:20

Done- thank you for this OP
