Do I need to calm down?

DSD (12.5 years old) couldn't be bothered to go to her toilet last night, so pissed in a glass and left it on her bedside table. She also got wee all over the carpet in doing so. The bathroom is about 4 metres from her bedroom.

She thinks it's apparently "not that deep". DP isn't impressed, but equally hasn't shown much signs of great annoyance.

I'm disgusted and really quite pissed off. Ha, excuse the pun.

YABU = calm down, not the end of the world

YANBU = fucking gross

You haven’t enabled voting but YANBU. Not just gross but lazy. Did she clean it up?

Ooops, not sure how to enable voting on the app.

She only cleaned the floor when asked to and was very disgruntled. As if I had asked her to clean up someone else's piss 🙄

Thats bizarre. I don't think it's laziness. I imagine it's something else.

Are you the wee troll OP?

Can you help me think what? I thought she might have been scared to get up in the dark, but we keep the bathroom light on for her. And when I asked, she said it was cold and she was tired so didn't want to get up...

Hahaha I wish this wasn't my actual life today! Promise no trolling.

Yeah that's strange. Was she frightened to go to the bathroom for some reason?

PaterPower · 04/04/2023 18:19

Ugh, absolutely gross. Short of a physical reason why she couldn’t get up, this is disgusting.

And I thought my DSDs were bad by leaving cups wrappers in their rooms - this is another level!

Not that she'd tell us. I'd not be angry if there was a genuine reason. As well as leaving the bathroom light on, we also have a small plug-in light in the hall.
