Motability advanced payment

I ordered a motability car last month. I asked the dealer if I should wait for the new prices in April, but the rep said that "they never go down". The new prices came out today and our car has reduced by £1300, which is huge.

I'm going to ask them if they'll reduce the AP, but failing that, I'm wondering whether we could cancel and reorder. Our car is not in the UK yet.

Has anyone else had this situation?

Definitely ask the dealer, my order time is always close to a change in the prices although my cars have never come down, always stayed the same or increased, but whenever I've asked about this the dealer has told me that they would cancel the order and put it through at the lower price for me if it did decrease, my last couple of cars have been Kias but I don't think it would make that much of a difference which company it was with?
