Bought a first class ticket on Trainline for Good Friday. Cos me £130. (I figured going first class meant I would get a seat on what will be a busy train)
Went on Trainline today to tell the person I'm travelling with what time to book their ticket for, and it wasn't there.
Went into my bookings and it has been cancelled. They've taken it off the timetable.
I was never told, and now I'm being charged £10 for the refund, and will have to spend almost double that to travel that day.
AIBU to say one of Trainline (who didn't notify me) or GWR should be offering something to the cost of this ticket given it's such a dramatic price increase?
