I have always struggled with presentations and speaking in front of a group due to anxiety and shyness. I have managed to conquer a bit of the anxiety, but I struggle so much with talking in front of a group, even on Teams. I freeze up and forget what to say, so I have to have notes in front of me. Even then my mind goes blank and I sometimes stutter and go silent for a few seconds and must look like such an idiot.
My brain just seems to stop functioning properly and I don't know what I can do. I'm wondering if there is a term for this or some sort of cure?
