We are staying in a hotel and DP lay on the bed with his muddy trainers on :(

Im a bit grossed out. He is not like this at home.

I once woke up in a hotel bed with a dead body next to me, must have been there for a week or more. I tried to jump out of bed but I was stuck to all the congealed juices from the corpse. Had to sort of claw my way out.

Can laugh about it now but it was quite unpleasant at the time.

I HATE when this happens. You'd think they had a system to stop it now. I find it super common.

My poor daughter used to be a housekeeper in a hotel, believe me muddy trainers were probably one of the most pleasant things to clean from the room

I did work experience at the age of 16 as a housekeeper. Wish muddy trainers was all I had to deal with 😷

I run a tourism business. Mud would be the last of my concerns. I have dealt with drugs, prescription drugs, human and pet hair, needles, vomit, blood, peroxide stains, faeces and even the occasional dead body...and their final emissions over the years. Hotels have mattress covers for a reason!

That's why the bed runner / bed throw thing at the end of the bed is called a spunk blanket.
