Wearing watch at night

I really need some honest opinions please. My partner has recently bought a new smart watch which he insists on wearing in bed. The problem being that the strap is one of the big chunky metal ones which he catches me with during the night. It's got to the point where we don't cuddle if he's wearing it because I'm fed up with being woken up when it scratches me. I've asked him not to wear it but he says he wants to, he says it's my choice to not cuddle when he's wearing it so therefore I'm stopping us cuddling not him. Is he right?

Can he get a new strap for it?

Tamper with the strap so it breaks 😉

He did a different strap but it irritated his skin

So it's OK to irritate your skin but not his??

He tries another strap. I wrlear mine in bed to check my sleep pattern and snooring but if it was irritating dh it would come off.

I said that to him, still came back to it being my choice blah blah 🙄

Get a new partner.

Tell him you chose a cuddle but not to be injured during or after it.

Honestly he is showing very little care for you.

How on earth does his strap catch you? Me and DP both wear smart watches in bed. Neither of us ever scratched. What’s it made of? Razor blades?

It's one of the metal ones made up of links

The nylon velcro straps you can get for any watch on Amazon or eBay definitely don't cause irritation - he really needs to try another strap

Make up the spare bed for him and scratchy watch
