Gosh, I'm surprised how many people think the bloke's primary aim is to get a shag. It's probable that he would like that...with you, but l'm not sure it's his aim. Did you call it off? Did he cheat? If so hes letting you know hes learnt your lesson. He's just reflecting on your relationship fondly.
I must admit, it would certainly perplex me.....and a voice note, thats pretty personal. I'd also say hevwas either drunk or very emotional at the time.
Stop questioning what he might want, and concentrate on what you want. It would drive me mad. I'd have responded before I posted on mumsnet.....not because I was carrying a flame, but because I'm nosey! Then I'd probably be left dangling or reacting to another cryptic clue, but that's just me.
So my response is no one here has any idea what he wants including him probably. What do you want?
