To ask when the Sun is going to come out?

Been cold and grey for weeks?

Blue sky and sunshine on the Kent coast today :)

I fear this is going to be one of those years a bit like 2013 where there's not much of a spring or summer. I remember it because I started a new job in the spring then and I couldn't sit outside and eat lunch until about late May. Also we went camping late May (with a baby and pre-schooler) and it was still in the low single figures at night so I was a bit worried but things did perk up a tiny bit just for that last BH weekend.

In fact that was the year it snowed at Easter. This year isn't quite as bad as that, but it's not going to much warmer than this for at least another fortnight by the looks of things. So YANBU, it is a bit depressing, I'd like to stop using my winter coat soon please!

I'm completely fed up with the miserable wet weather. I walk my dog every day and the relentless mud is depressing - the dog gets filthy and needs a wash outside before I'll let her back in the house...

Yup. The endless mud!

I cannot wait for the days when a normal pair of walking boots will do and I don't have to hose off my wellies and the dog every time we get back. For that to happen it needs to be a bit warmer and the sun needs to come out, to dry off the ground surface.

Been darn chilly i agree! Sun is out today though and my north facing garden which gets no sun in winter is bathed in sunshine now. Let's get those temps up now!

Sunny with blue sky and pretty little fluffy clouds here today, but bloody freezing. How? The sun is bathing my kitchen in a glow if promised warmth, there’s no wind and no rain, yet it’s baltic.

Back to cold and rain today.

Very confused as to whether this is actually 'typical' for this time of year. I'm never normally affected by thr weather but have really noticed it this year.

Probably in July where it'll be 40 degrees again and we'll beg for it to go away.

No.. I've been saying for years that they should bring the seasons forward a month.. spring usually peaks its head out late feb, summer in may, autumn late august etc but last year and this year seem more traditionally accurate.
It did feel weird to be shivering in my big coat today when it's nearly april!
