Dh & I are celebrating a significant anniversary this year & we're getting a ring made.

I've always hunkered after an emerald ring but up to now don't have one.

My engagement ring is a solitare & I have diamonds in my wedding ring too.

The new ring will be an eternity ring but not necessarily the traditional style of an eternity ring. I'll wear it on my right hand..

@StephenDedalus I wanted an emerald ring and jewellers advised me not get one as the stones aren’t very hard wearing for everyday use! I didn’t end up getting one but still love an emerald. Good luck

Emeralds can last! As you can tell from the photo, I don’t look after my hands well. However, I’ve worn my emerald engagement ring every day for well over 20 years without trouble.

Mine's my engagement ring.

I had an emerald and diamond engagement ring, which I loved, but I don’t have any pictures of. It was a round stone in the middle, with 3 diamonds on either side, similar to this pic. Weirdly, I lost the stone when it fell out the day after my DH died. I suppose I could have had it fixed, but it wouldn’t have been the same.
