To never go out with 2 under 2 ever again

Should have been a nice morning, an easy outing in the car to the park with a quick stop off to buy one thing at the supermarket on the way. I know I know, why did we go to the supermarket with the toddler and baby…
Anyway it all ended in disaster and everyone screaming or wanting to scream and so now we are back home with Peppa Pig and toddler eating nothing but chips.

I never want to leave the house again until they’re both at uni.

The words “nice” and “easy” are where you’re going wrong. You need to massively lower your expectations!

Sorry you had a rough morning.

Just wait until they are teenagers! THEN you will never want to be out with them!
I'm totally missing having babies!
Seriously, it gets easier!

I hear you OP! Sending good vibes

Commiserations and solidarity. We've all been there.

I found my ‘2 under 2’ get easier when they were 3 and 4. But then they started fighting each other 😬

'Screaming or wanting to scream'. Been there, sister Grin

Thanks everyone! Someone is always crying or has shit themselves - I don’t know when I’ll ever relax again.

My 2 under 2 are now 3.5 and 2. They're easier but harder. They can both run away! But also can follow basic instructions to a certain extent. They fight like cat and dog but will also play together nicely. Certain places I wouldn't attempt with both of them - supermarket being one. I think as my 2yr old's communication gets better things will get easier too.
