How do you stay chirpy when feeling ropey?!

Got a bit of a stomach bug, not awful but feels like it’s some kind of bug, tired because things have been busy recently, don’t feel things in relationship are that great, today I’m just feel bleugh and want to have a little cry but feel I should just be out and about doing something on my day off! How do you be kind to yourself / keep positive when you are feeling a bit off colour?

I don't think "chipy" is helpful or constructive when you are feeling ropey. Irritating and draining, I would personally describe it as,

Just snuggle down with a nice cup of tea and a good book/box set on streaming and a duvet
