These are not words either:

Inbetween
Infront
Alot
Loosing (unless you're loosing the hounds)
Non

Call me unreasonable if you like...

OP posts:
AlotIsntAWord · 23/03/2023 18:59

This blog has made my life Alot better.

neitherofthem · 23/03/2023 22:40

This annoys me everyday.

Reallybadidea · 23/03/2023 22:44

Can I add:

Abit
Incase
Infact

Where have they suddenly come from in the past few years?

InTheFutilityRoomEatingBiscuits · 23/03/2023 22:46

You shouldn’t of started this OP

(That did not feel good to type!)

uhOhOP · 23/03/2023 22:47

And when two words get hyphenated for some bizarre reason. I think I understand why people do it, but I hate that they do it. I can't think of any of the really good examples I've seen, though.

Thisismeyeah · 23/03/2023 22:51

Your smart. Youve learnt me something new today

Bunnyfuller · 23/03/2023 22:54

I have this face whenI go on local FB groups: 😑. It’s painful. And constant, with there for their and vice versa, draw, your not you’re alot abit would have aloud. I understand SOME people have dyslexia, but not this many, surely. This isn’t struggling to spell, this is just completely wrong words, or non words.

Bunnyfuller · 23/03/2023 22:54

WhenI is anew word too.

youbitchesaretwats · 23/03/2023 22:55

Neither is

Turnt

Aquamarine1029 · 23/03/2023 22:56

Agreed. The "non" thing drives me fucking insane. I've been seeing it more and more on here.

Cherubiminal · 23/03/2023 23:04

My pet hate is 'defiantly' being used instead of 'definitely', FFS they're two different words with entirely different meanings.

LittleBearPad · 23/03/2023 23:34

Could you be more pacific?

Pixiedust1234 · 23/03/2023 23:37

I blame autocorrect, it hates spelling and apostrophes

GayforMoleman · 23/03/2023 23:41

My current favourite is "the end is neigh" - a Facebook comment in response to a post about alert systems on mobile phones being tested by the government.
I’m sure the horses will enjoy their takeover.

LittleBearPad · 23/03/2023 23:41

Autocorrect doesn’t cause ‘could of’

dizzydizzydizzy · 23/03/2023 23:58

Yous (=pl of you) is not a word either. One of my managers actually writes this when addressing the staff.

Maybe I'm thinking of predictive text then. I know whenever I want it's the word gets reverted to its once I press the spacebar. Same for do not, it reverts to dont (notice its not don't). Then I press post and think ffs wheres the edit button.

RobertaFirmino · 24/03/2023 00:21

I can see this is really getting to you. You need rest bite.

Bubblesoffun · 24/03/2023 00:42

notangelinajolie · 24/03/2023 00:45

Thank you

uhOhOP · 24/03/2023 05:11

"His" instead of "he's"... 🙄
