Sorry if it's already been discussed (don't see anything) went on there, chose 11 things, it logged me out. Logged back in, chose 15 items this time, when I went to check out, there were only two? Paid for those, rang to complain (it's taken THREE HOURS of my life) & the lady on the phone said the two items I'd paid for hadn't gone through either.
So, if you value your time (and temper) avoid like the bloody plague.
That's £291 of my money they won't get, anyway..

Next website doesn’t hold things in your basket, so nothing guaranteed til you check out.

I thought the thread was going to be on how it was a pile of shite and 90% of the items are what was leftover from the last sale

mamabear715 · 23/03/2023 14:13

Yes, I must have gone over the time the first time, & it logged me out. Second time, I went through with my fingers like bees wings on the keyboard, & they still messed up. Absolutely fuming.
Housework would have been more productive.

What do you mean gone over the time though? There is no time, while you’re putting multiple things in basket it’s still availability to everyone else until the point you check out. It’s always this way with next, fastest finger first :)

I usually buy a few things in the Next sale but this one is very poor. Not many new items added in.

mamabear715 · 23/03/2023 17:23

@Isyesterdaytomorrowtoday It logged me out a few times, don't know if it was just a glitch then? I assumed I'd gone over time as there was a clock on the upper right portion of the page..
But anyway.. readers have been warned! I hope the site will behave for any of you.. for me, it didn't. I'd let Next know if they'd be bothered, & if there was any way you could let them know.. stores seem to not be so hot on the 'contact us' these days.. the lady on the phone said she would let her manager know.. mm-hmm..

I usually go to checkout when I’ve added one or two things to my basket and then go back into the sale and repeat the process. It’s the only way to stop stuff going out of stock while you carry on browsing.

mamabear715 · 23/03/2023 17:39

@ScarlettDarling Do you then have them delivered to store? I was trying to get them delivered, although a fiver delivery seems beyond the pale when you're (trying to) spend nearly £300. I wouldn't want to pay £5 x several orders..

Yes, I have it all delivered to store! I definitely wouldn’t do that if I was paying for delivery!
