Posting for traffic. Sorry!

My mum is 66 and had a brief cold/ virus a few weeks ago. She's now really not doing well, just knackered, struggling to walk up stairs etc. She's been like this since she was ill but has got worse.

I'm quite concerned it could be in indication of something more serious.

Her gp is terrible and was quite negligent with an old relative who has since passed away. I'm wondering what she /we should be asking about to rule something serious out or identify it. I just worry she will get fobbed off by her gp.

For example I've heard about the 2 week cancer time frame for tests. But is this for specific symptoms? Am. I being dramatic?

Any steer would be helpful. Thank you

Hi OP, could you ask to see a different GP?
