Carrying on from the Judging Post is this Strange?

I know someone who suffers from mental health problems if that's relevant.
Anyway they were due to meet their new nephew who's about 8 and spend the day with some of the family and the nephew and they said they didn't want to go because they thought the Child would judge them.

What does this even mean?

The answer is obvious from your post. Either the person’s MH issues include paranoia or they think the child knows about the MH issues and will judge them for it.

What Nalafromthelionking said plus even if the child doesn't know about the MH issues they might still judge them based on their behaviour.

No, it's nothing to do with the child it's to do with the persons bad mental health, church means they feels judged, which is not logical usually but due to the poor mental state

Perhaps they’re paranoid or delusional, or have odd beliefs. Come on OP, it’s not that hard to comprehend. The person does actually sound quite unwell 😢.
