Even though it's common knowledge that the marriage is gone and they have agreed to separate lives but coparent and cohabit for financial reasons ?
Really hope I get a lot of replies as the bigger the response the more overwhelming the reasons will be to inform my decision.

He's most likely lying about being separated. I'd tell him you want to meet her to confirm that they are really separated. His reaction will tell you want you want to know.

Eg if it's your birthday on Wednesday could he see you or is that his wife's night

Just why would anyone with any self
esteem get involved in something where this is part of the decision making process?

There are loads of men who’d be delighted to have a casual relationship with a woman who don’t need to negotiate whether they’re allowed to go out on Wednesday with their wife.

I've skimmed the thread but on this alone it would be a no from me.

My best friend and her exh lived together while the house was being sold but both were open and honest with each other that they were dating and with people they dated of the situation. Hiding it makes it look like he's still married.

If I really liked him, this setup would make me too jealous. And if it didn’t make me jealous, that would tell me I didn’t like him enough.
