Why do all my White bras go grey?!!

I've tried everything! I only wash them with a white load of washing, have tried vanish and other whiteners, I've also tried washing them in net curtain detergent!
They don't look too bad until I put a White top on which instantly makes them look grey and grubby!!

Arghh!

What temperature do you wash them on?
Do you hang them to dry in sunlight?
How often do you wear each one?
Do you use bio or non bio?
How old are they?

Try not using fabric conditioner and hanging them out in the sun.

I only wash my clothes at 30 or 40 degrees and use Persil tablets. When it comes to drying them, it depends on the weather. On sunny days, I hang them outside to dry, but I never use a dryer, especially for wired bras, as I believe it could damage them. On cloudy days, I hang them in my airing cupboard.

Honestly, you need to wear flesh colour bras under white, it's the only way.

white bras are useless, I don't own a single one. Always wear nude under white clothes.

Always wear flesh coloured underwear under white. And wash your white bra by hand on it's own if you have one

Yes, I'd agree with this. I've been replacing all my white underwear with nude bras and knickers.

I actually prefer the nude colour now anyway.

Another vote for nude underwear. I wish I'd thought of it years ago. No more showing through tops or thin trousers/dresses.

I always wear white bras under white clothes. Mine stay white. My washing habits:

• I only use washing powder
• hang clothes outside when sunny, even if it’s just for a few hours
• No fabric conditioner
• white clothes only, no mixing of bedding or towels with clothing

I don't understand why white bras exist. They serve absolutely no purpose. I've thrown out mine, nude is so much better.

Thank you for suggesting the use of a nude bra; however, I feel that when I wear lighter or more transparent clothing, a white bra blends in better than a nude-colored one.

Dont use pods or liquids to wash. White powder.

Use biological powder and dry outside.

Given up wearing white bras. Second all the other comments about nude colour instead - much better under any white or light clothing.

Choose a bra color that blends with your skin tone. Pale pink can be better than nude. Wash bra after each wear in mild shampoo or dish liquid. Dry indoors.
