I wish camper would go back to making beautiful pod like shoes in buttersoft leather circa early 2000s. Nice everlasting polishable shoes that get better with age and make you look like a Danish architect. No big camper labels, no weird shit, no nasty plastic bits , just gorgeous dreamily comfortable genderless Spanish-made shoes in muted tones with beautifully molded high quality rubber soles. Trippen also. Their designs too are now veering into lunacy. Even camper classic designs are shoddily made. And if someone could sort the sizing also, that’d be great . El naturalista too.
There was once a time you could walk into a camper store and desire every item because they were all just so very wearable and exquisitely manufactured. Not any more.

I agree. I had some lovely patent dove grey, round toe t bar sandals with a small wooden heel and gorgeous dark grey leather lace up shoe boots from Camper. Wore them both until they fell apart.

I still have some tan leather open toe sandals with a little red rubber block heel and red laces securing them around the ankle. I love them.

Nowdays I rarely see anything i would wear from them.

Grayson Perry? 😂I once had a shoe emergency when staying at an upmarket ski resort. When I finally found some shops there was nothing normal. Strange emerald and bright purple leather monstrosities costing £100s each.

Do they float? If so, they could double as emergency floats for incompetent canoeists.

I'm in agreement. Not my thing but I wouldn't say they were hideous. As heels go they look quite comfortable.
BTW, many younger woman are now 'owning' their hairy legs. Just take a look on TikTok. Yes they are pretty hairy but are we wrong to assume they are male legs. I've been quite surprised by this new 'trend' to realise just how hairy some women are.....a sizeable proportion! The taboo has been lifted

Regardless of who’s wearing them those are some seriously minging shoes, absolutely vile. Ugly shoes seem to be all the rage recently, I’m struggling to find anything I like at the moment, everything is just so so horrible!
