Oh dear, I had a pair of shoes very similar to these as a child in the late 90s. Didn’t realise I wasn’t a real woman.

How on earth is this an anti-trans post? You could only call this an anti trans post if you knew that the wearer was trans - you don't. The shoes are fucking ugly, that's pretty much it. The gender of the wearer is completely irrelevant, although the hairy legs aren't helping to make them anymore attractive.

They're listed as unisex anyway - from a quick look at the website, lots of the shoes are available in both the men's and women's sections. I am strangely tempted by the light blue ones.

but it seems a lot of the posts are about the legs being male because of the hair. Women have hairs in their legs, a lot get rid of it, but some don’t. Doesn’t make those that don’t any less feminine. My brother shaves his legs as he was a triathlete and he prefers it. Doesn’t make him any less of a man. That the legs are hairy? If it's a woman she's entitled to have her legs as hairy as she likes, surely. And if you're saying it's the unholiness of the hairy legs that's an issue then either you're not a very good feminist or think that Transwomen should also shave their legs.

But they're a man's legs? Well yes, but a man can wear whatever shoes he likes - that's at the very core of GC feminism, right? That we have no objection to men wearing traditionally ' feminine' apparel and that if they did that rather than go full on LadyDick we'd have less problems.
