No idea where to post this, so probably the wrong place and I'm being unreasonable, sorry.

Around 25 years ago I saw a painting/print in an art shop which I loved. It was cartoony with a couple and a heart shaped box of chocolates.

I knew at the time I couldn't afford it as we had no spare money, but I still haven't forgotten it.

Googling shows it's in the style of Doug Hart but I cannot find it.

Would I be unreasonable to ask for help find it, even a print?

I've had a google op and cant find anything remotely related.. but fear not, mumsnet has found some mental things for people so all is not lost!

Thanks @Notimeforaname that's what I'm hoping for.

Obviously I have massive regret over 20 years later.

Was it a "Love is....." cartoon?

GoodChat · 19/03/2023 19:54

Can you remember what the shop was called?

zippitydoda · 19/03/2023 19:55

@MammaWeasel pretty sure it wasn't.

@GoodChat no idea. It was in South Woodford. Was in the window for months and I saw it daily.

Might be DOUG HYDE not Doug Hart.

Anything like this?

To ask for help?
zippitydoda · 19/03/2023 21:29

@LumpyandBumps it's that style but it was definitely a box of chocolates and I'm 90% sure it was heart shaped.

Was it a "Love is....." cartoon?

This is what came to my mind.
