Inspired by the 'Why did you last cry and when?' thread.
A parent is terminally ill and won't be with us much longer. I cry every day.
I can't really remember when I last laughed, properly laughed.
I hope lots more people have and can share some fun stories x

I belly laugh at least once at every Modern Family episode. I just find Phil and Cam hilarious. So that's at least twice a day atm as it's dd2's favourite program

Also I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through, OP 😢

Today. Met up with some much loved and rarely seen friends. I haven’t laughed so hard for so long. Wish I could see them more

Yesterday, my dog likes to rip cardboard boxes up and managed to get one stuck over her head.
I'm sorry for your troubles, I was there a couple of years ago 💐

DH and I watched an old episode of Taskmaster the other night and we both laughed so much we were crying by the end. I'm sorry about your parent, I can imagine that life must be very hard at the moment Flowers

I, too, am sorry for your troubles @Tuesdayvibes.

No anecdotes here, but my DC1 has been at home for the past week or so (university holidays) and he makes me laugh several times a day, just because he's very, very funny. It's one of the best things about him.

Seeing my most recently adopted fosterling the other week when laid his head on my shoulder and said "Luff ooo", I told him I love him too.

Mogloveseggs · 18/03/2023 21:00

Op I'm really sorry to hear that 💐
Dh and I are on our first and probably last date night of the year and we've come to see a comedian we like it's the interval and he's at the bar Properly funny. I can't remember the last time we laughed together like this.

Glad you are having a great night out!

I think a comedy night, in time, would be wonderful for me too.
